Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the MobilSensor mobile application and the service available at mobilsensor.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Volodymyr Petlovy (“we”, “us”), collect, use, store, share, and protect your information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account information you provide when you register: email address and/or phone number, password (stored only in hashed form), preferred language and time zone. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and basic profile information.
Sensor data that you choose to enable on a device running in Sensor mode. Only the channels you turn on are collected, and only after you grant the matching permission:
- Microphone — sound level only. We measure the ambient noise level (in dB). We do not record, store, transmit, or listen to audio. The microphone may be used in the background while the Sensor is active.
- Location (approximate and precise, including in the background) to record the Sensor’s position, show it on the map, build its route, and check the base coordinate.
- Device status: battery level and charging state, network status, and—where the hardware supports it—proximity, light, temperature, barometric pressure, speed and altitude.
Diagnostic data: when the app crashes or errors, we collect technical log data (e.g. device model, OS version, app version, IP address, timestamps, and crash traces) to fix bugs and improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service (deliver sensor data to your Master devices and send alerts).
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To send notifications you have enabled (push, and—on a paid plan—email).
- To process and manage subscriptions and payments.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve the Service.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data, and we never have. We do not share your data for advertising. Your sensor data is accessible only to your own account from your connected Master devices.
We share limited data only with service providers (processors) that help us run and improve the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their function:
- Google Play Services / Firebase — sign-in, push notifications, and subscription billing. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Sentry — crash and error reporting used solely for diagnostics, bug fixing, and stability improvements. (Sentry Privacy Policy)
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.
4. Data retention
Collected sensor data and events are retained according to your plan:
- Free plan: sensor data and events are kept for 24 hours and then permanently deleted. This deletion is irreversible and is not restored if you later upgrade.
- Paid plan: sensor data and events are kept for up to 1 year, after which older data is permanently deleted.
Account information is retained for as long as your account exists.
5. Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, either from within the app or at https://mobilsensor.com/terminate_account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your sensors, and all stored sensor data and events. For deletion requests or questions, contact us at vova4kin@gmail.com.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and passwords are stored only in hashed form. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Links to other sites
The Service may link to third-party sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
